My1st Collection
Edition December 2025

Launched by Galerie Charlot, My1st is a project created to support first steps into contemporary art, featuring a selection of accessible, bold, and inspiring works specially chosen for each of the gallery’s exhibitions.

My1st refers to the first step, the first emotion, the first encounter with a work of art. The project is directly inspired by the story of Valérie, the gallery’s founder, who acquired her very first artwork at the age of 18 thanks to a payment plan. With this community, she now wishes to offer the same possibility to a new generation of art enthusiasts.

More than a simple display, it is an invitation to cross the threshold of a gallery for the first time, engage in dialogue with artists, discover accessible contemporary artworks, or simply begin building connections and reference points within the art world.

For the occasion, a carefully curated selection of works will be presented from December 6 to 20, alongside the solo show Phantasmata by Éric Vernhes.

The gallery invites you to join us on Saturday, December 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., for a festive and engaging opening evening.

On the program: meet the artists, enjoy a cocktail, explore a selection of original and affordable artworks, along with games and surprises.
