Art Basel Miami - Zero10

For Zero 10 at Art Basel Miami Beach, Galerie Charlot presents LoVid, the duo of Tali Hinkis and Kyle Lapidus, whose practice gives physical form to the immaterial. For more than twenty years, LoVid has built its own audio-video synthesizers. Drawing on noise music and experimental video, their performances transform electrical signals into sound, saturated colours and unstable symmetries. Captured and digitally recomposed, these images hold the memory of a moment performed together.Textiles extend this exploration. Printed, embroidered, painted or stitched, the electronic image encounters material and the time embodied in handwork. Between digital creation and fine craftsmanship, thread accentuates the rhythms of patterns or disrupts their order. The new Digital Tapestries collection (2026) continues this dialogue in Web3. These exuberant collages combine analog video, painting and sewing, blending digital processes with manual interventions. With Time Sensitive, a digital artwork presented amidst suspended glass sculptures, the signal takes on a sculptural presence: the light of the screens enters into dialogue with the transparency of glass.Across media, LoVid weaves connections between signal, material and gesture.
