A Singular Selection. A pioneering vision. A lasting commitment.

For 15 years, we have championed contemporary digital art as a medium in its own right.

Digital art is neither a trend nor a

technological gadget. It is a medium in its

own right, with its masters, its codes,

its history. Since 2010, Galerie Charlot

has worked to give it the place it deserves

in the French and international

cultural landscape.

The Space and the Spirit

Represented Artists

Each artist we represent is chosen for the singularity of their approach and the rigour of their practice. We favour artists who explore the digital medium as a creative territory in its own right — not as a tool, but as a language. Our roster brings together international voices united by the same formal and conceptual standards.

Commitment

Since 2011, Galerie Charlot has been committed to defending a form of art that was still little understood, often miscategorised, sometimes resisted. That commitment has not changed: to make visible what is emerging, to give time to practices that require it, and to build bridges between artists, institutions and audiences. We believe that digital art is not a genre apart — it is a condition of our time, and we have chosen to be its active witnesses.

Exhibitions

Our exhibitions are conceived as experiences in their own right, never as simple arrangements. Each project is born from a prolonged dialogue with the artist — a conversation about space, time, intention — before becoming a scenographic proposition. We refuse the neutrality of the white cube when it erases what the work has to say. Whether it is a first solo show, a group exhibition or a participation in an international fair, each exhibition is conceived as an editorial gesture: a stance on what digital art can be today.

We work with artists at very different stages of their careers — some established, others formulating their first coherent language. What matters to us is the density of the proposition, not the reputation. Some of our most significant exhibitions have been firsts. It is in this space before recognition that something essential plays out, and it is there that we choose to be.
