Trained at the École Boulle, ENSAD Paris and the Design Academy Eindhoven, Louis-Paul Caron approaches the digital image with a filmmaker’s eye. His early works reinterpret the codes of Neoclassical and Renaissance painting through a contemporary aesthetic, before his practice turned towards ecological and technological questions.
Futuristic 3D landscapes, the blazing scenes of the INCENDIES series, AI-generated paintings in the manner of Edward Hopper: his narratives blur the line between fiction and reality to make the consequences of climate change visible. A finalist for the Lumen Prize (Nature and Climate) in 2025, the Prix ClimArt and Arab Bank Switzerland’s Digital Art Prize, he has exhibited at the Musée d’art contemporain de Lyon, with Danae at Paris Photo, at Art Basel’s Digital Art Mile, at TODA in Dubai and at the Non Fungible Conference in Lisbon, and represents France at the Malta Biennale in 2026. A resident at Villa Albertine (Los Angeles) in 2026, he has taken part in Digital Art Waves, Digit-All, PROJECTIONS. ARCHITECTURES OLYMPIQUES and Marais DigitARt at the gallery.
